Bignor Park offers three distinct settings for wedding receptions in West Sussex, each providing a unique atmosphere within the estate. From drinks receptions on the South Lawn in front of the house, with views across the South Downs, to marquee and tipi receptions on the Croquet Lawn, and celebrations in the characterful Stables, the venue offers exceptional flexibility.
The Stables include a collection of interconnected spaces – the Coach Store, Stove Room, Stalls, Tack Room, Courtyard and Quadrangle – allowing you to create a reception that flows naturally throughout the evening.
As a blank canvas wedding venue, each setting can be styled to reflect your vision, whether elegant, relaxed or contemporary, creating a wedding reception that is entirely your own.
The Stables at Bignor Park provide a charming and characterful setting for wedding receptions in West Sussex. This restored 18th-century complex of five rooms is arranged around a large cobbled courtyard, combining historic detail with a warm and intimate atmosphere.
On one side, the courtyard creates a welcoming space for drinks and gathering, while the Coach Store opens through French doors onto the Quadrangle – a secluded walled garden that offers a unique indoor and outdoor setting for dining, celebrations or evening relaxation.
The Croquet Lawn at Bignor Park is a spacious and secluded setting for marquee and tipi wedding receptions in West Sussex. Set just beside the main house the Croquet Lawn offers a panoramic setting of quintessential Sussex countryside, surrounded by historic parkland. Ideal for larger celebrations, the Croquet Lawn can accommodate up to 250 guests within a marquee or tipi, offering a flexible space to create a fully bespoke reception.
The South Lawn at Bignor Park provides a beautiful setting for wedding photos and drinks receptions in West Sussex, with uninterrupted views across the surrounding countryside and the South Downs. This spacious lawn offers a relaxed and natural transition following your ceremony or arrival from church, giving guests time to enjoy the setting while you capture photographs and begin your celebrations.
